About the school

The École Saint-Charles is situated in the west of the Principality of Monaco, in the Monte-Carlo district. The school has 4 nursery classes (2 reception classes and 2 Year 1 classes), one adaptation class, 20 elementary classes and 2 Adaptation and integration classes (AIS classes).

Twenty-seven classes share their daily lives and no fewer than 41 nationalities co-exist within the school, so cultural exchanges are many and varied.

The school's 570 pupils are supervised by approximately 80 adults.

The school buildings include a gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool, a school canteen, five playgrounds, a multi-purpose room and a range of classrooms, as well as adjoining premises spread over 7 levels.

The architecture of the building enables each child to thrive in a small community, despite the size of the establishment.
